De Prophet VS is een hybride vector synthesizer van Sequential Circuits. Per stem heeft de Prophet vier digitale oscillators, waarin uit 128 verschillende golfvormen gekozen kan worden. Van deze zijn 96 preset golfvormen, en kunnen 32 zelf worden ingeladen via MIDI. De VS heeft per stem een analoge Curtis lowpass filter met een slope van 24 dB/o.
